Littles is a native Memphian, U.S. Army veteran and retired Sergeant of the Memphis Police Department.
He now serves as the National Police Activities League (NPAL) Vice Chairman, Executive Director and Chief Visionary Officer of nonprofits MBI PAL (est. 1996) and Memphis Shelby PAL (est. 2017) which he founded to build positive connections between youth, law enforcement officers and the community.
“From serving as a law enforcement officer to starting youth sports leagues, after-school programs, and summer camps for children, I have always wanted to make Memphis better,” said Littles. “I’m honored to receive this recognition from my alma mater and excited to celebrate with the community.”
“For over 30 years, Craig Littles has operated programs that have provided thousands of youth in the Frayser/Raleigh/North Memphis communities and other underserved neighborhoods with opportunities to succeed,” said Eric Brent, Assistant Principal of Trezevant High School. “The Craig Littles BEMASSIVE Classic was created to celebrate his contributions and inspire others to serve.”
